The August 2026 ZIP-level Pulse stays available as a historical snapshot. Its filing counts use an earlier method and should not be mixed with Bulletin events.

The Pulse was the Record’s first ZIP-level release. It compared two consecutive twelve-month periods for every covered NYC ZIP.
The Bulletin replaced it with neighborhood groupings and an event-based count. We keep the Pulse snapshot unchanged so earlier references still resolve, and we label it as historical everywhere it appears.
